Goodbye 2013!

I don't normally do theses either, but I stole this from Dom because I am so incredibly bored at work! 

1. What did you do in 2013 that you'd never done before?  Got a job as a secretary, something I have never done before. Exciting, I know. 

2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I never make them, because I never follow them, and I'm not going to sit there and say I'm going to lose weight like the rest of the world. That will never happen either. 

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Jamie, Kristin, Marissa, and Michelle

4. Did anyone close to you die? No, thankfully

5. What countries did you visit? None, I'm lucky if I even stepped outside of NJ.

6. What would you like to have in 2014 that you lacked in 2013? A savings account

7. What date from 2013 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? July 17th, the day Shadow came home. 

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Paying off all of my credit card debt, go me!

9. What was your biggest failure? College. I'll give school another try in 2014.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? nothing serious. The stomach flu knocked me out of commission for a few days though. YUCK

11. What was the best thing you bought? Shadow

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? My Father's. He made a big turn around, finally. 

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Certain members of my family, whom I will not name. I'll just never understand how you can betray family. 

14. Where did most of your money go? Bills and Shadow

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? My nephew being born

16. What song will always remind you of 2013? Blurred Lines, ha!

17. Compared to this time last year, are you...happier or sadder? much much happier. 

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Spent time by the pool or at the beach.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?  Working

20. How will you spend Christmas? With my family and William's family

21. Did you fall in love in 2013? I've been inlove since 2009!

22. How many one night stands?  That's big ZERO. 

23. What was your favorite TV program?  Sons of Anarchy, absolutely devistated that it's over and I have to wait for next year now. haha 

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? I could list a few, but I'll be nice.

25. What was the best book you read?  I don't read, ever. 

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?  I started listening to country music again. I forgot how much I liked it. 

27. What did you want and get?  a horse.

29. What was your favorite film of this year?  Despicable Me 2!

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?  I turned 24 and I think I worked?

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Having Brookdale keep the ultrasound program so i could have continued my college career and been on my way to a promising future.

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2013?  Lazy work clothes and barn clothes.

33. What kept you sane? William, always.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Carrie Underwood

35. What political issue stirred you the most? I don't pay any attention to that stuff. 

36. Who did you miss? Gizmo, I miss him everyday.

37. Who was the best new person you met? Dom, thank goodness for her. 

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2013. Always stay positive. No matter how bad things are, they can always get worse and there is no point in giving in and feeling bad for yourself. Everything will always work out in time. 

39. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year. I don't think there was any, this year was pretty tough, I can't think of anything that really hits home. Thank god this year is coming to a close. Looking forward to a healthy new year for myself and my family as well as everyone else. <3
